Community Gatherings serve as a virtual connection among healthcare leaders committed to improving the patient experience in an identified area of interest. They offer a venue for sharing ideas, practices, challenges and opportunities. If you are part of, or are interested in being involved with one of these groups, make plans to attend their community gathering. Each community will meet for an opportunity to network and engage in facilitated discussion with peers.

Patient and Family Advisors Gathering
Tuesday, April 17, 3:15 – 4:15 PM

Exclusively for Patient and Family Advisors

Patient and Family Advisors (PFAs) often work in their home institutions isolated from the work of PFAs at other institutions. The Beryl Institute has created a network of PFAs to encourage collaboration among advisors to better share successes, overcome obstacles and work together on issues that transcend individual institutions. This session is an opportunity for PFAs at the conference to get to know one another and explore ways we can collaborate to produce a stronger patient voice in the improvement of the patient experience.

Tuesday, April 17, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Exclusively for Nurse Executives

This special reception is for nurse executive leaders (CNOs, CNEs and VPs of Nursing) and will be held at Patient Experience Conference 2018. The reception will be hosted by the Nurse Executive Council of The Beryl Institute.

The Nurse Executive Council formally launched in late 2017 and is comprised of a diverse network of innovative executive nurse leaders who work collaboratively with The Beryl Institute to develop strategies for nurse leader engagement in the broader patient experience movement as well as inform the efforts of the Institute.

The Council will hold its first in-person meeting in association with The Beryl Institute Patient Experience Conference. The reception will be held at the close of that meeting and will provide the opportunity for nurse executives to network, learn more about the priorities of the council and provide an overview of additional ways to engage in our efforts as individuals and for the organizations you represent.
